What counts as DMCA violation and what do we report?

Rulta protects digital content such as videos and photographs. Any form of written content that do not reproduce your copyrighted work, such as commercials, and promises to share content, generally do not constitute copyright infringement. Different platforms may have different copyright enforcement policies and different interpretations of fair use doctrine. Rulta submits reports in accordance with the relevant platform’s copyright enforcement procedures and applicable copyright laws.

Fair use may allow a party to use a copyrighted work without the copyright owner's permission for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research.

Not all content used by a “fan” would constitute copyright infringement. Whether such content can be removed depends on the applicable law, the platform’s policies, and the specific use of the copyrighted material.
