How long does it take to issue a DMCA takedown?
All the websites have their own review process and response time, but the websites that comply with the DMCA usually accept, process, or otherwise respond to our takedown requests within 3-10 days.
Unfortunately, some websites and hosting providers operating in certain jurisdictions, including countries like Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, and China, may ignore DMCA notices and choose not to respond to these claims.
In these cases, we can help by delisting the content from Google and Bing search results to reduce its visibility and traffic.
If you still want the content removed from the website itself, you might need to consult a lawyer and consider taking legal action in the relevant jurisdiction against the site. While this can be costly and there’s no guarantee of success, it might help prevent further leaks in the future.
