How long does it take to issue a social media takedown?

The removal of social media links can take up to a week. The removal of impersonator accounts can take up to two weeks. If the impersonated account is not removed within 2 weeks, we need to report the impersonated account again.

Please keep in mind that in order to remove an account that is impersonating you, Instagram/Twitter/Facebook requires your government-issued ID.
