Why am I being asked to verify?


Verification process protects creators from impersonation, fraudulent takedown requests, unauthorized agency situations, account abuse, and other forms of misuse, in addition to establishing proper authority necessary to provide our services.


How can I verify my subscription?


We have 4 different methods for verification and you can choose one of them to complete this process:
1. Follow us on social media and send us a DM (Instagram or X / Twitter )


2. Send us a selfie mentioning Rulta, your face and hands must be visible.


3. Upload your government ID directly on our website.



4. Add Verification Code to Bio


This is the fastest option.


What information may be requested, and why would Rulta request such information?


In certain situations, Rulta may request additional information or documentation, such as government issued identification documents (IDs), in order to establish copyright ownership, agency authority, licensing rights, or other legal entitlements relevant to the services that we provide; as well as for age verification purposes where it is deemed reasonably necessary to confirm your eligibility to use our services.


Please note that IDs are requested only where it is deemed reasonably necessary and are NOT required for every verification method.


How is my information used, protected, and retained?


Any information (such as your ID) provided as part of the verification process may be used to verify identity and/or account control; prevent fraud, impersonation, and unauthorized use of our services; protect creators, rights holders, and third-parties; support compliance, dispute-resolution, and other legal processes; establish authorization; and for other purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy. Verification information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to comply with our regulatory and security obligations.


Rulta implements strict technical and organizational security measures, including encryption and access controls, designed to protect information submitted during the verification process from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or other forms of misuse.
Verification information may be stored in the U.S. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Rulta implements appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Verification information is accessed only by personnel with a legitimate business need to review or process such information.


What happens if I do not complete verification?


Verification is required before certain services can be provided to you. If you choose not to complete verification, some of our key services, such as copyright enforcement, may be unavailable until verification process has been completed.
